Dr Tanya Ovenden-Hope EdD, MA, BAHons, Cert Ed, QTS, FHEA, FIfL has been a full-time Lecturer/Teacher/Educational Leader since 1990. During her educational career she has been Head of Sociology, Deputy Director of Sixth Form, Course Leader for Initial Teacher Training, Deputy Team Leader for Humanities, HE Development Leader, HE Team Leader in an FE College,Programme Team Leader for Education and Head of School (Secondary and Further Education Studies) in a University. Tanya is an additional inspector for Ofsted and a Reviewer for the QAA.

Tanya has always maintained a high research profile, acting as co-author on a number of academic titles and research papers.

She has acted as a consultant for a variety of educational institutions, offering presentations, lectures and reports on research findings.

Tanya is currently working in the Faculty of Education at the University of Plymouth, Devon and is Executive Head of School/Assoicate Dean (Secondary and Further Education Studies).
